INTRODUCTION: 1 owner from 1970-2023, 53 years! He was 97 years old
when he sold it. We have the title showing him as the owner from
new until 2023 along with years of inspection stickers. The
original protect-o-plate is also included to verify the original
drivetrain. This is an unabused, authentic, #s matching muscle car.
The GS 455 made more torque than any other car in 1970! We bought
it from a serious Buick collector that serviced the car, it really
functions as good as it looks.
EXTERIOR: Claimed to have all of its original metal and I believe
it. It is clean and straight, it has crisp lines. It fits
exceptionally nicely, the doors shut like a new car. Those hood
scoops are functional feeding air to that 455. It had 1 repaint in
its original Glacier White color, it's polished smooth and glossy.
The chrome and stainless moldings are straight and shiny. It has a
remote mirror and the red stripes in the rocker moldings indicate a
455 which is also accented in the emblems. It still has all of its
original glass in good shape. The vinyl top is in excellent shape.
The 15 inch chrome Buick wheels look brand new and are wrapped in
Cooper tires.
INTERIOR: The interior shows very well, it is unabused! The
upholstery is excellent, the cushions are firm. The original sat
trim represents how well the interior was cared for. The door
panels and armrests look great. The rear mesh shelf and trim is
excellent. The headliner fits tight and still has the shoulder
belts, original visors and the mirror is clear. The interior lights
work. The dash pad is really nice, the instrument panel is very
good and it has a deluxe wheel. It also has factory gauges,
tachometer and am radio. The original console also looks great.
Down on the floor has nice carpet, Buick floor mats and complete
set of original seatbelts.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This has its original VIN number matching 455
engine making 350 horsepower and a whopping 510lbs of torque! Other
features include power steering, power brakes and factory air
conditioning that was recently serviced. Everything is stock from
the valve covers, manifolds, ram air system complete with heat
riser tube to the overflow bottle, fan shroud, and hood insulation.
The washers are hooked up, horns work and the distributor cap is
new.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It has clean original metal that's been neatly
spatter painted. It is complete with jack and spare assembly. Under
the trunk lid and the jamb are clean, the weatherstrip was
replaced.
UNDERSIDE: Rust free, clean original floors, braces and rockers. It
was dry ice blasted which cleaned it up very nicely. The suspension
and steering has been inspected and maintained as needed. The
brakes are working properly, it has disc in front and the e-brake
assembly is hooked up. Fresh factory type dual exhaust. Looking up
at the motor it is clean. It has its original VIN number matching
Turbo 400 automatic. The original posi rear end still has original
OK assembly line marking.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we
built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and
hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car
we sell.
CONCLUSION: If you appreciate an exceptionally well cared for care
you will love this one. That's hard to find in a muscle car!
For nearly 30 years, I, Jay Grams, have personally written the
highlights for almost every car in our collection. What I provide
is my professional opinion based on my experience with these
vehicles. However, opinions can vary, and I strongly recommend a
personal inspection to form your own view. Our sales team is always
available to answer any questions you may have. One great option is
to request a personalized walk-around video, where we can showcase
the car and share our team's insights. **Our cars are displayed
within a museum setting. If you are interested in a specific
vehicle, please schedule an appointment with a salesperson to view
it. Without an appointment, there is an admission fee to enter the
showroom. If you decide to purchase a car, your admission will be
refunded, and you'll receive a one-year museum membership.
