From 1989 through 1994 Porsche built the 964/911 and would be the
first time that internal designations would be used in describing
the iconic 911. It would also be the first time since the inception
of the 911 that a major re-design would happen all while keeping
the same iconic body design. It was considered to be 85% new as
compared to its predecessor, the Carrera 3.2. These cars got
considerably more power, comfort features and safety equipment as
well. You could get these in a rear wheel drive, the Carrera 2 or
the AWD Carrera 4, which derived its AWD system from the 959. This
particular example comes to us from very long term ownership and
has covered just 30,000 miles since new and has been largely dealer
maintained and has not been driven in inclement weather. The power
top operates as it should but has a hole in the fabric, however a
brand new top in the box will accompany the car when purchased. The
Carfax lists this car as a one-owner, however service records and
paperwork indicate that it's a two-owner car possibly the first
owner was a short-term lease. This car has the rare option of
rear-seat delete with the "rear luggage dump" option. The tires are
just a few years old and hardly have miles on them. The rest of the
mechanicals seem to be in good order as the car starts, runs and
drives down the road very nicely. The interior is in good shape
with some peeling under the lens of one of the gauges. (in pics).
The original space saver spare, tool roll and compressor also come
with the car along with the original owners manuals, both sets of
keys, service records and car cover. There was some key scratches
next to the key-hole in the drivers door that were touched up and
blended. The A/C still blows cold and all the lights and gauges
work as they should. These 964's have started to really gain
momentum in Collector car world. We welcome any questions or
