This 1978 CJ7 Golden Eagle came out of the great state of Texas, and the body and undercarriage show it! Originally this Jeep started out life green in color and had a respray done within the last 5 years to a glossy red paint. This Jeep stands out above the rest with its lift kit believed to be around 3'' high and still maintaining the iconic Golden Eagle character. It is believed to have the correct drivetrain with the transmission rebuild at around 55,000 miles on the odometer at that time as per the prior owner but we do not have documents on the repairs. This does appear to be a real "Golden Eagle"... from the correct motor that would have come in it down to the gold spoke spare tire rim that it has. It simply has all the proper equipment that came with the Golden Eagle package. This 1978 CJ7 comes with a black "ACME" hardtop that is in decent condition as well.
