For Sale: 1974 Ford Bronco in Massillon, Ohio

Vehicle Description

This 1974 Ford Bronco was refurbished and modified in 2023, and it is powered by a replacement 302ci V8 equipped with Edelbrock electronic fuel injection, MSD ignition, and long-tube headers. Shifting is through an AX-15 five-speed manual transmission linked with a twin-stick dual-range transfer case and Dana 44 front and Ford 9″ rear axles. The truck is finished in Boxwood Green and features a roll cage, a removable hardtop, a bimini top, LED headlights, ProtoFab bumpers, 17″ Fuel Off-Road wheels, front disc brakes, power steering, and a 4″ suspension lift with Bilstein shocks. Black vinyl covers the front bucket seats and folding rear bench, and additional details include a retro-style stereo with premium custom build installation of Bluetooth, JL Audio speakers/subwoofers powered by an Kenwood Excelon amplifier (max 1600 W), and a Tuffy center console. This Bronco was purchased by the seller in August 2024, and it is now offered with an Ohio title in the seller’s name.

The truck was repainted in a shade the seller describes as Boxwood Green and features black accents. Features include a removable hardtop, a bimini top, LED headlights, ProtoFab bumpers, a hood scoop, a swing-away rear tire carrier, a receiver hitch, rear wheel arch flares, and a fuel tank skid plate.

The truck is equipped with a 4″ Wild Horses 4×4 suspension lift, a 1″ body lift, Bilstein shocks, power steering, and a Wild Horses steering stabilizer. It rides on 17″ Fuel Off-Road wheels mounted with 305/65 BFGoodrich All-Terrain K02 tires. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted front disc brakes with stainless-steel brake lines.

The cabin features a powder-coated roll cage and floor that has been coated with a spray-in liner, as well as front bucket seats and a folding rear bench trimmed in black vinyl. A retro-style head unit with Bluetooth capability is linked to an aftermarket sound system consisting of JL Audio speakers, a Kenwood Excelon amplifier, and a pair of JL Audio subwoofers are installed behind the rear bench seat. An invoice detailing the installation is provided in the gallery. Additional interior details include a Tuffy locking center console, three-point seat belts, Wild Horses Inc transfer case selectors, and a TBP shift lever.

The two-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of Dakota Digital instrumentation, which includes a 120-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and combination gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 2,200 miles, which represents the mileage added since the completion of the refurbishment. Total mileage is unknown, and the current Ohio title carries a Not Actual Mileage notation.

Installed as part of the refurbishment, the replacement 302ci V8 is equipped with Edelbrock Pro-Flo 4 electronic fuel injection, MSD ignition, long-tube headers, a dual exhaust system, an aluminum radiator with an electric fan, and a Wild Horses Inc. stainless-steel fuel tank with stainless-steel lines and an in-tank electronic fuel pump.

Power is routed to the rear or all four wheels via an AX-15 five-speed manual transmission outfitted with a Centerforce Dual Friction clutch and a dual-range transfer case with twin-stick shifters. The truck features a rebuilt Dana 44 front axle and a Ford 9″ rear axle with revised gearing.

VIN U15GLU25711 is shown on the tag above, and the truck is titled in Ohio using VIN U15GLU257114, which includes an extra digit.
