1965 PONTIAC GTO PHS DOCUMENTED FACTORY 4-SPEED, PS, PDB This 1965
presents itself beautifully in Starlight Black. It has a nice clear
coat finish on a clean rust free body. It is straight down both
sides, all gaps and seams are nice and the bumpers have been
re-chromed to show finish. The stainless trim, grills, mirror, door
handles, tail panel and tail light bezels have been polished or
replaced with new. It rides on a set of Rally 1 wheels with new
trim rings, center caps and a set of BF Goodrich Silvertown radial
redline tires. The Black interior has been redone. The seat
upholstery, seat cushions, door panels, armrests, pads, headliner,
visors and carpet have all been replaced. It has a wood steering
wheel and factory 4 speed console with factory shifter coming out
of it. Looking at the dash: it has the optional Rally gauges and
tach, the wood grain on the dash is in great shape, nice dash pad,
front and rear GM seat belts, aftermarket AM/FM radio (that plays
well) hidden in the glove box and aftermarket Pontiac floor mats.
The engine compartment is nicely detailed with a completely rebuilt
389 cubic inch engine with 77 heads, block casting number 977879.
It features a factory 4 barrel intake manifold with correct Carter
4 barrel carburetor with correct chrome air cleaner and factory
chrome valve covers! The wiring harness has been replaced along
with all the brake lines, correct spring style battery cables,
4-core radiator, power steering, upgraded dual master cylinder,
front disc brake conversion and under hood insulation. The engine
compartment is nicely finished in a satin black. The undercarriage
is nicely detailed. The floors are all clean and original metal and
have a nice coat of satin black paint. Looking up at the bottom of
the motor it is clean as well as the Muncie 4-speed transmission.
The front brakes have been upgraded to disc brakes and all the
front end components and all the bushings appear to have been
replaced. The E-brake cable assembly is complete and working. There
is a 2.5 inch dual exhaust system that runs all the way out the
back with factory style splitters. The gas tank and sending unit
have been replaced. The trunk compartment is very nice with a spare
steel wheel and jack assembly along with a trunk mat and spare tire
cover. It has a light coat of gray trunk spatter for a nice clean
factory look, new weather stripping and the jacking instructions
decal. This is a nice 1965 Pontiac GTO! It really stands out from
all the rest with its color combination, looks, sound and
performance! Make it yours!! *Please contact us for the most
