INTRODUCTION: Real SS, frame off restored, #'s match! What an
amazing car with a stout 396 V8, stunning colors, upgraded
overdrive transmission, 4 wheel disc brakes, factory air
conditioning, 17" wheels, and electronic exhaust dumps too. Add in
a wonderfully refurbished interior, and you don't need to worry
about a single thing, except where to cruise too next!
EXTERIOR: Amazing color! The Grecian Green paint is so attractive
and sought after. It is nice and slick and has a wonderful
reflection. The black SS stripe adds some sizzle. Looking down the
side of the laser straight body is satisfying with its smooth
contours and crisp lines. All the panels have been painstakingly
aligned with consistent gaps that are way better than average. The
glass is nice and clear and the windshield has been replaced. The
dual bulge hood with chrome grates just looks tough. The front
grille with SS 396 emblem looks virtually spotless. The bumpers
have been re-chromed and the remaining bright work all has a
glorious shine. It is also equipped with dual side view mirrors. To
the rear are reproduction tail lights and a blacked out tail panel
with SS 396 emblem. It is equipped with dual exhaust that has the
correct cowbell style tips. She is sitting pretty on upgraded 17"
billet SS billet wheels that are wrapped in Firestone radial
tires.
INTERIOR: Wonderfully refurbished! The front bucket seats have been
rebuilt and reupholstered. They are very comfortable and supportive
and have adjustable headrests too. The rear seat was recovered to
match and it has seat belts front and back. It's equipped with the
optional center console that has a small storage compartment and
the staple style shifter. The door panels have been replaced
including armrests and handles. The carpeting was replaced and the
kick panels now have 5.5" speakers built in. The dash area looks
great too with a replaced pad and nicely painted lower section. It
has the upgraded factory gauges, not dummy lights and also has a
tachometer. The climate control unit is in great shape and the
radio has been upgraded to a digital retro stereo that fits in the
factory hole. A three spoke steering wheel with SS insignia on the
horn button looks and feels fantastic. The rear shelf was
refinished and now includes 6x9 speakers. The sun visors also look
like new and the dome light is working.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: #'s matching engine! A 396 cubic inch V8 was
factory rated at 325 horsepower but this one has been upgraded with
an Edelbrock intake manifold, Holley carburetor, and coated
Flowmaster headers. The VIN number is clearly stamped on the block
in plain sight. The factory air conditioner has been completely
rebuilt and this car is also equipped with power steering and power
brakes as well. The battery is properly secured, plus the squirters
and horns are hooked up. All the belts and hoses were replaced. The
original cowl tag is still attached. The underside of the hood has
been painted body color and is complete with insulation. The
fenderwells and firewall are also painted like the exterior.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Fully finished! The underside of the trunk lid
and inside the jamb are painted slick just like the exterior. The
weatherstrip was replaced and reproduction stickers added. Inside
is all upholstered with vinyl and carpeting that has nice bound
edges. Under the carpet is sound deadening that was applied to
clean rust free metal and is painted body color. It's also equipped
with a full size spare tire.
UNDERSIDE: Body off frame restored! It's very well detailed under
this car. The underbody is all clean metal painted the same
beautiful Grecian Green as the body. The entire chassis was prepped
and painted black. It has the F41 suspension which includes boxed
rear control arms plus front and rear sway bars. It was upgraded to
front coilover adjustable gas shocks. It also has a custom polished
stainless exhaust with x-pipe, polished Magnaflow mufflers, and the
correct SS tips exiting under the rear bumper. You can easily open
and close the electric exhaust dumps via key fob if you want to
shake things up a bit. It is also equipped with an upgraded brake
system with discs at all four wheels. The lines and hoses have been
replaced and it has a custom e-brake assembly. The fuel system was
all replaced and it has a polished tank and new lines too. When
looking up at the engine you see clean Chevy orange paint with a
high torque starter. The transmission is upgraded with a 200R4
overdrive automatic unit and aluminum pan. The rebuilt drive shaft
leads back to a 12 bolt rear end.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we
built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and
hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car
we sell.
CONCLUSION: What a winner! What else could you ask for? This real
SS has a #"s matching engine, and numerous upgrades that really
enhance the overall driving experience. I know you can tell at a
quick look, but dig deeper and you will see this car has everything
going for it!
