Chassis number 292 of 395 brought on the US, Black/ Gold color combo " Slick Top" No sunroof car. This air-cooled custom built 3.45-liter flat-six engine featuring a 76.4mm stroke GT3 crankshaft, a matching one-piece GT3 intermediate shaft, Mahle Motorsport 98mm cylinders, custom 11:1 CP pistons, Elgin cams, Pauter rods and rockers, Xtreme heads, Kinsler individual throttle bodies, and MoTeC M130 engine management which was wired and calibrated by Sakata. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 5-speed 915 manual transaxle and the brakes have been upgraded with 911SC calipers. An upgraded Tractive suspension has been installed. Drives like no other 911, no harsh bumps and turns in with exact precision.
The Carrera comes with the original numbers matching 2.7-liter CIS fuel-injected engine, it is complete on a pallet and will be included with the sale. 15x7 & 15x8 Inch factory alloy wheels with Avon Radials 185-70-15 & 215-60-15 front and rear. During this build all new fuel tank and lines, new oil tanks and coolers.
This Carrera was completely taken down to the shell professionally gone through by Porsche trained craftsman. 1000’s of hours was spent to create this German masterpiece. This is not a rolling catalogue; this is a documented one off properly built and engineered 1975 Porsche Carrera. Not one nut, bolt or fitting has gone untouched, replaced or replated. There was no expense spared as invoices were well over $400K.
