Exterior Highlights
The exterior of this classic T-Bird is in great shape and has the undeniable look that makes these popular with everyone. The vehicle is equipped with an excellent hard top that gives the car a completely different look than with the top down, both of which are stunning. The vehicle has a convertible top frame only. The vehicle is loaded with detail, ample chrome, and style that has been lost over time. The paint on the car is in very good shape with some minor imperfections, very presentable and could likely be much better with some TLC. The body on the car is very straight with no rust bubbling or apparent body repairs. The wire wheel and triple white wall tire combination really set off the classic look of this bird, the tires are old with plenty of tread but would likely need to be replaced. As the photo shows this car has a stunning appearance and would make a great weekend cruiser.
Interior Highlights
The interior of the car is in great shape with black vinyl bench seat as the center piece. The dash is in great shape and loaded with detail including a full compliment of original gauges. The carpeting in the car needs to be replaced, has a worn spot on the driver side that is easily covered with a floor mat but could be improved. The door panels are in good shape and are incredibly ornate, as is the entire interior.
Mechanical Highlights
This vehicle is equipped with what we believe to be its original drivetrain, including the 292 V8 Motor that starts and runs good. The engine compartment is clean and somewhat detailed as can be seen in the photos. The car is equipped with a smooth shifting Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission. The rear end is equipped with a highway gear that allows for comfortable cruising. The undercarriage of the car is solid and relatively clean. This vehicle has been covered to 12 Volts.
