Description:
This 1987 Buick Grand National was acquired by the current owner in 2007 and was the subject of a multi-year build that was completed in 2025. Refinished in black over black and Sand Gray cloth upholstery, the car is powered by a turbocharged 249ci stroker V6 linked with a a Dave Husek-built four-speed automatic transmission, a high-stall torque converter, & a Quick Performance 9-inch rear end with a Yukon Gear 3.40:1 center section & 31-spline Moser axles.

Interior:
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in Black and Sand Gray cloth with Turbo 6 embroidery on the front seat headrests. Additional amenities include an aftermarket center console, cruise control, air conditioning, a fire extinguisher, a 10? Alpine subwoofer, and a RetroSound digital stereo with Bluetooth capability. The re-wrapped leather steering wheel fronts a digital speedometer, a digital tachometer, and gauges for boost pressure and fuel level. The selling dealer notes that the fuel gauge is lazy and always reads toward full. Supplemental AutoMeter Sport-Comp gauges display boost pressure, oil pressure, and transmission temperature.

Exterior:
The car was repainted in black under prior ownership and features removable roof panels, a sculpted hood, a rear window defogger, LED headlights, fiberglass front bumper fillers, sport mirrors, a decklid spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets. The Billet Specialties OE Series Grand National wheels are mounted with Nitto 555G2 front and NT555RII rear tires. The car rides on a lowered suspension with Bilstein shocks, Eibach front springs, QA1 upper and lower A-arms and front and rear sway bars as well as a notched rear frame and UMI Performance adjustable upper and solid lower control arms and control arm braces.

Drivetrain:
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Dave Husek-built four-speed automatic transmission, a Husek 245mm high-stall torque converter, a Denny's three-inch steel driveshaft, and a Quick Performance 9-inch rear end with a Yukon Gear 3.40:1 center section and 31-spline Moser axles.
