This 1969 Chevy C10 Short Bed Pickup is a beautiful truck that
underwent a frame-on restoration about 15 years ago and has had
under 14,000 miles put on it. This was driven only in the summers
sparingly and it shows in how nice the truck is still. We have a
large binder full of receipts and documentation of everything that
was done to the truck when restored. It is a very well sorted truck
with a lot of nice upgrades and it runs, drives, and sounds great!
The body is clean and straight. When it was restored it was
professionally repainted Yellow and the paint still looks
excellent. It has an aftermarket steel cowl hood and the front and
rear bumpers were replaced when restored. They also restored the
wood bed, grille, and grille surround pieces. The underside is
super clean and solid. The floors, cab supports, and frame are all
solid and we found no rust issues with this truck.
The interior is also very, very nice. Everything was removed when
the truck was painted and the entire interior was repainted yellow
at the same time. They replaced all of the interior parts like
carpet, door panels, dah pad, dash, etc. Everything still looks
close to new. They replaced the 69 bench seat with a seat out of a
newer Chevy and it is much more comfortable and looks great. It has
a Deluxe Gauge Panel with factory tach and vacuum gauges. The
headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are all
working. The gauges all work. The windshield wipers, heater, and
horn also work.
Mechanically this truck is excellent and it runs and drives as good
as it looks. It has power steering and front disc brakes for easy
steering and stopping. The engine is a 383 Stroker V8 that runs
strong with no issues or red flags that we found. It is a well
built and well documented engine. Some of the highlights include:
steel crank and connecting rods, Wiesco .40 Pistons, a Comp Cams
hydraulic roller cam, Dart pro 1 aluminum heads with roller
rockers, Weiland Aluminum intake, Edelbrock Carb, coated headers
with dual Flowmaster exhaust, March serpentine belt system, MSD
distributor and ignition system. The engine is tuned and dialed in.
It has a built Turbo 350 automatic transmission that has a tall
converter matched to the cam. The rear axle is a 12 Bolt with 3.73
gears and a Powertrax limited slip. The front suspension was
lowered with springs and spindles (done right). The rear suspension
was upgraded to adjustable airbags. This is all sitting and a nice
set of aftermarket chrome rims with nice Firestone tires size
235/75/15.
