1937 Packard 115C Business Coupe, known for its craftsmanship,
luxury, and engineering. 237 cubic inch L-head inline six-cylinder
engine paired with a 3-speed manual transmission shifted on the
floor. The exterior is a subtle two-tone burgundy and plum metallic
paint scheme with few inperfections, and beautiful chrome accents
including grille, bumpers, and headlight bezels. Riding on
authentic Packard steel wheels with polished covers and wide
whitewall Silvertown tires. The interior is elegant, with a
reupholstered gray bench seat accented by deep plum trim and a
well-maintained headliner. The dashboard features original
appearing gauges such as the speedometer, oil pressure,
temperature, amp meter, and fuel gauge. For starting, there is a
push button start in the center of the dash to press after turning
the key. Oil pressure, amps, temp, and speedometer gauges are
reading. Odometer is inop. An aftermarket turn signal indicator has
been added the steering column. The seats fold forward with plenty
of storage space behind, as well as in the trunk that is finished
nicely to match. Operates on the 6-volt electrical system, with a
new battery and a newly installed master cylinder. On the road, the
manual transmission and clutch shifts smoothly, the ride is quiet
and comfortable, absorbing road imperfections well, braking
smoothly and straight, and cornering easily. A battery shut-off
switch is located on the floor just in front of the driver's
seat.
