INTRODUCTION: Wow, look at these colors! If you won't like hearing
compliments everywhere you go, then you shouldn't buy this one! And
everywhere is where you should go, that LS motor and overdrive
trans will take you there with ease.
EXTERIOR: Yep, the color is outstanding! The body is clean,
straight and has an SS hood. The paint is very glossy and where the
light hits it, it really pops. It has a jaw dropping presentation
but there are some flaws. The SS stripes are painted pearl white.
It was recently ceramic coated. The chrome and trim is shiny,
weatherstrips were replaced. The white power convertible top was
replaced along with the gutter system. Rolling on a set of 18 inch
Panther wheels
INTERIOR: Not only does this white interior look cool, but it's
going to feel cool too on those hot sunny days. The door panels,
seats, headrests and visors have been custom upholstered. The
carpet looks good and has SS floor mats, in between the bucket
seats is a factory console with the staple shifter. The dash pad
and instrument panel look like they have been replaced and it has a
good looking set of Velocity gauges. The cushion grip leather
wrapped steering is pretty cool too. It's got a thumping stereo
system to listen to your favorite tunes cruising with the top down.
The Kenwood stereo delivers the music through 2 big amps, 2 sub
woofers and 6x9s.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The engine bay is painted the same fabulous
color. This Chevy gets its heartbeat from a reliable, strong
running 5.7L-325hp LS1 fuel injected motor. The front of the motor
has a serpentine belt system, modern alternator and power steering.
The power brakes and wiper motor were replaced. It runs cool with
an aluminum water pump and radiator with an electric fan.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and jamb are painted like
the car. Inside is boxed and carpeted and proudly displays 2 big
amps and subwoofers.
UNDERSIDE: The body was lifted off the frame and flipped on a
rotisserie so the floors could be prepped and painted the same
beautiful color as the car. The frame and chassis components were
prepped and painted semi-gloss black. It has disc brakes in front,
drum in back. The great sounding dual exhaust has Flowmaster
mufflers and the SS tips. The fuel system was replaced including
the tank and it is compatible with the fuel injection. The steering
and suspension was gone through and has upgraded control arms in
back. Looking up at the motor it has an aluminum Holley oil pan and
a high torque starter. Itis upgraded with a 4L60E overdrive
automatic trans and the 10 bolt rear end has cruising gears.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we
built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and
hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car
we sell.
CONCLUSION: Yes, a Chevelle convertible with an LS motor is a very
cool ride, the color brings it to another level. If you can figure
out how to get $1 every time someone compliments the paint, you'll
have the car paid for in no time!
For nearly 30 years, I, Jay Grams, have personally written the
highlights for almost every car in our collection. What I provide
is my professional opinion based on my experience with these
vehicles. However, opinions can vary, and I strongly recommend a
personal inspection to form your own view. Our sales team is always
available to answer any questions you may have. One great option is
to request a personalized walk-around video, where we can showcase
the car and share our team's insights. **Our cars are displayed
within a museum setting. If you are interested in a specific
vehicle, please schedule an appointment with a salesperson to view
it. Without an appointment, there is an admission fee to enter the
showroom. If you decide to purchase a car, your admission will be
refunded, and you'll receive a one-year museum membership.
