restored 1949 Buick Super 8 Dynaflow Woody Estate Wagon. The Rare
Model 59 Super 8 Woody Estate Wagon is 1 of 1,830 produced in 1949
and represents less than 5% of total Buick production in that year.
It was one of the most expensive and rarest body styles offered in
1949 and was the last wood-bodied station wagon mass-produced in
the United States For fans of genuine wood-bodied wagons, the 1949
Buick is the absolute pinnacle of desirability. Built at the Ionia
assembly plant, this Buick features the Valve-in-Head 238CI
Fireball Dynaflash Straight Eight Engine coupled to the Dynaflow
Drive Automatic Transmission. Other features includes beautiful
mahogany and ash veneers where they were complemented with fine
leather upholstery, Foamtex seat cushions, a flexible spoke
steering wheel, anti-glare rearview mirror, an electric in-dash
clock, rear cabin light and luxurious interior carpeting. Factory
features included back-up lights, turn signals, windshield washers,
stone guards, fender skirts and wide whitewall tires matched with
full-size chromed wheel covers with Buick insignia. Two new
features would come to symbolize the Estate Wagon brand: sweeping
chromed body-side moldings and Iconic VentiPorts with the Super
having 3 on each of the front fenders. Car is in overall excellent
condition with all of the body panels lining up nicely and all of
the wood beautifully restored. All of the chrome, trim and badging
is intact and in excellent condition. Interior is very clean
featuring red leather bench seating with carpeting on the rear
flooring and a rubber mat in the front. Cargo area is very clean
and carpeted with compartment that opens up revealing a full spare
tire and jack components. Undercarriage is very clean with solid
frame and suspension. Single exhaust exiting the rear with custom

magnificent overall condition with gorgeous mahogany decks and
powerful engine. Features a rebuilt Chris Craft Marine 6 cylinder
engine and fully restored passenger compartment with red vinyl
seating. Included is a 1998 LE4000 Trailer in excellent condition.
Car, boat and trailer are located in MA with each having clean
