Zoom Classic Cars presents this unique package consisting of a
fully restored 1949 Buick Super 8 Dynaflow Woody Estate Wagon
accompanied by a restored 1948 Chris Craft Runabout with Trailer
offered as a package. The Rare Model 59 Super 8 Woody Estate Wagon
is 1 of 1,830 produced in 1949 and represents less then 5% of total
Buick production in that year. It was one of the most expensive and
rarest body styles offered in 1949 and was the last wood-bodied
station wagon mass-produced in the United States For fans of
genuine wood-bodied wagons, the 1949 Buick is the absolute pinnacle
of desirability. Built at the Ionia assembly plant, this Buick
features the Valve-in-Head 238CI Fireball Dynaflash Straight Eight
Engine coupled to the Dynaflow Drive Automatic Transmission. Other
features includes beautiful mahogany and ash veneers where they
were complemented with fine leather upholstery, Foamtex seat
cushions, a flexible spoke steering wheel, anti-glare rearview
mirror, an electric in-dash clock, rear cabin light and luxurious
interior carpeting. Factory features included back-up lights, turn
signals, windshield washers, stone guards, fender skirts and wide
whitewall tires matched with full-size chromed wheel covers with
Buick insignia. Two new features would come to symbolize the Estate
Wagon brand: sweeping chromed body-side moldings and Iconic
VentiPorts with the Super having 3 on each of the front fenders.
Car is in overall excellent condition with all of the body panels
lining up nicely and all of the wood beautifully restored. All of
the chrome, trim and badging is intact and in excellent condition.

revealing a full spare tire and jack components. Undercarriage is

condition with gorgeous mahogany decks and powerful engine.
