I have owned this Pantera for 26 years and under my care it has always been garaged and covered (soft cloth) and has never seen a raindrop or snowflake. In fact, I don't think I've ever let it sit outside overnight. I bought the car in 1999 and have only added approximately 1500 miles to the odometer. It is currently showing 36,xxx miles. The previous owner had a bare-metal paint respray done in a Ferrari red color. The factory hue is yellow. Pictures of the repaint process are shown in the photo section of this listing. The rear wheels have been upgraded to 10" wide Campy's and the taillights are authentic Group 4. The original 8" rear wheels and stock taillights will go to the new owner. Also included are the 1974 large front and rear bumpers. It also comes with factory service books and owner's manual. The standard 351 Cleveland has been upgraded with an Edelbrock Torker aluminum intake, Mallory distributer and Edelbrock carburetor. A "cold start" is shown in the video. The tires are in excellent shape albeit old. The original R12 air conditioning system is complete but currently not working. The interior is nice, mostly original. Overall, the car looks terrific. After nearly thirty years, the paint still looks great (although not concours perfect). I don't think it would take much to bring this car up to the level of the $120,000-plus Panteras you see for sale. I'm looking for the best offer over $80,000. I welcome and encourage a pre-purchase inspection. I live near Indianapolis. You can email me at: [email protected]
Thanks for looking.
