1982 Corvette “Collectors Edition” with only 23,645 miles from new. The Collector Edition package included special Silver paint and graphics, special leather interior trim, Collector Edition only wheels, glass tops, rear defrost, power antenna, and the only operable hatch back to appear on C3s. These cars had a special VIN identifying them as Collector Editions. The sticker price was the highest of any C3.
The car remains in all original condition and has never had any paintwork performed, only maintenance as needed. Clean Carfax history showing a nice timeline with mileage showing ownership in California, Texas, and Arizona. It recently had an oil change on 9/16/25 25 miles ago.
Paint still shows excellent but the front and rear bumpers are not as shiny as the rest of the car and show some marks from age (Pictures in Gallery) This is true to all of the corvettes of this era, most people repaint but this one has remained original.
Interior is in excellent shape with no odd smells and very soft leather showing barely any wear at all. The carpets have always been protected with clear plastic covers on the sills and aftermarket floor mats. The original floor mats are included. The stereo was upgraded with a custom autosound unit that fit in the stock location without dash modification. The speakers were all replaced with high quality and better sounding Alpine products. The original stereo and tape deck are included with the car.
AC blows cold, headlights, wipers, and all gauges work great. All lighting appears to be in good working condition, currently this corvette needs nothing but a new caring owner.
Powered by the original 5.7 V8 with cross fire fuel injection and a 700r4 Automatic overdrive transmission. Runs and drives great, nice and tight like an original low mileage car should feel.
Beautifully preserved and properly maintained Collector Edition Vette is ready to enjoy by its next caretaker.
