Zoom Classic Cars presents this unique sleeper 1966 Chevrolet
Malibu 300 Deluxe Sedan with replacement 396CI/325HP coupled with a
700R4 Automatic transmission on the column with Overdrive. Engine
was sourced from a 1966 Impala which was rebuilt and replaced the
original 230CI 6 cylinder motor in 1987 and has been driven about
10k miles since. Car itself is mostly all original with 46,259
miles. Car equipped from the factory with AC, Power Steering,
Factory Chevrolet wire hubcaps with spinners and painted in Cameo
Beige with Fawn cloth interior. Repaint was done in 2017 and the
original interior is in overall excellent condition with no rips or
tears, new carpeting and the headliner is in perfect condition.
Recent work includes a new AC compressor, all new brakes, new tires
and new gas tank. Undercarriage is mostly original and untouched
with some of the common rust areas on these Chevelles in very solid
condition. Solid original floors and only the typical minor
surface. Dual exhaust. Only paint issue is a little bubbling along
the lip of hood above the grille trim as shown. Car is part of a 4
car collection from 1966 Chevelle enthusiast and has been very well
maintained. The car runs, drives and handles very well and is very
fast. If you love the 1966 Chevelles and want something different
that can be taken to car shows and used for ice creams runs and
deliver the raw power of the 396 when desired, this may be an
interesting vehicle for you. Stored in MA with clean title in the
owner's name. Same owner is also selling an all original 1966
Chevelle SS 396 Coupe White with red interior with only 32,12 miles
which is also listed on our website. Please give Jeff a call for
additional information. Thanks for looking.
