Survivor Classic Car Services Chicago is proud to present this
sleek 1979 Chevrolet Camaro. Coated in a repaint of Dark Brown
Metallic over a Camel interior, this late-70s cruiser is a sight to
see! Though originally a 305 V8 under the hood, the block has been
changed to a 350 cubic inch V8 with 2bbl carburetor paired with a
3-speed automatic transmission. The Camaro rides on 14" steel
wheels with chrome trim rings wrapped in 215/70R14 BF Goodrich
Radial T/A tires. This Camaro is the base body, so there is no
gaudy Z/28 fender flares or duck bill spoilers, just clean and
smooth body lines. This Camaro was designed to cruise!
The interior is in great shape. An AM/FM 8-track player provides
sound to the rear speakers. The 350 engine was rebuilt in the late
80s prior to being installed and still runs like a top. It recently
had the carburetor adjusted and the timing set. Paperwork shows
recent replacement of the carpet, window tracks, dimmer switch,
weatherstripping, a trans fluid flush, oil change, ignition coil,
and master cylinder, all to the tune of about $4,300 in March of
2025!
The suspension floats down the road, the exhaust quietly burbling
behind you, the engine running cool as a cucumber, and the smile on
your face will be from ear to ear!
