This 1963 Porsche 356B Coupe was purchased new in 1963 from Deet Eichel Porsche Volkswagen in Modesto, California, as a daily driver. In 1968, it was sold to its second owner, a family friend.
It was repainted in 2004, and new upholstery was installed on the seats.
In September 2005, the son of the original owner re-purchased the car from the family friend.
The headliner, carpets, and some panels were replaced with OEM aftermarket items from Germany. The original rims were re-chromed in July of 2017 and reinstalled on the Porsche, along with period-correct reproduction Michelin tires.
The Porsche is a matching-numbers car that has been refreshed, but not fully restored, so as to maintain its original character. A Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche of North America was issued for the car on March 27, 2017.
Approximately 75,300 miles on the odometer.
