Unveiled a year after the Stradale, the Ferrari SF90 Spider
transformed Maranello's first series-production plug-in-hybrid
flagship into open-air form, pairing a retractable hardtop with
hypercar output. Its powertrain combined a 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8
and three e-motors for a quoted 986 horsepower, deployed through an
eight-speed dual-clutch and an electrically driven front axle for
seamless all-wheel traction. In qualifying mode, it delivered
numbers that redefined road-car pace, with 60 mph flashing by in
2.5 seconds and a top speed of 211 mph. Paired with Ferrari's
advanced electronic Slide Slip Control (eSSC) system, the platform
was capable of lapping the short Fiorano test track an incredible
four tenths faster than Ferrari's inaugural hybrid, the revered
LaFerrari.
The Spider specification retained these otherworldly dynamics while
adding alfresco drama. The power-retractable hardtop stowed
compactly without disturbing the sculptural tail, and the
mid-mounted V8 remained very much on view. With the roof folded,
the V8's soundtrack mixed with turbocharger whoosh while clever
aero kept the cabin remarkably calm at speed. For a fraction of the
price, the SF90 Spider delivered the driving experience of
Ferrari's ultra-exclusive, multi-million-dollar LaFerrari Aperta,
bringing open-air hypercar theater within series-production
reach.
Specified in timeless Rosso Corsa with a Nero leather interior,
this 2022 Ferrari SF90 Spider presents a crisp, technical look that
suits its flagship status. The exterior is comprehensively optioned
in gloss carbon-fiber, including the exterior kick plates, side air
splitters, rear boot trim, and front spoiler. Forged,
diamond-polished wheels in gloss Technical Grey are secured by
titanium wheel bolts, with Rosso Corsa brake calipers providing a
matching flourish behind the spokes. Titanium tailpipe tips adorn
the rear, while classic "Scuderia Ferrari" shields punctuate each
front fender.
Inside, the cabin mixes performance materials with tailored
detailing. Gloss carbon-fiber continues across the dashboard
accents and upper tunnel trim, complemented by a carbon fiber
steering wheel with shift light LEDs and a carbon-fiber vehicle
key. Rosso leather piping, special Rosso stitching, and embroidered
Cavallino headrests add restrained color to the Nero
leather-trimmed, ventilated, and fully electric seats. Technology
and amenities are equally well considered. Apple CarPlay and the
High Power Hi-Fi system handle infotainment, while the advanced
front driving camera, Surround View, front parking sensors,
electrochromic exterior mirrors, suspension lifter, AFS adaptive
headlight system, and Homelink vastly improve daily usability.
Together these options equal a road-ready specification that makes
full use of the model's grand touring capabilities.
Today, the Spider shows just 325 miles at cataloging and presents
in virtually new condition. A clean CARFAX Vehicle History Report
notes consistent maintenance by official Ferrari dealer Midwestern
Auto Group (MAG) in Dublin, Ohio, most recently including an oil
and brake fluid change in June 2025, followed by a battery
replacement in September 2025. Marrying open-air enjoyment with
hypercar pace, this low-mile, highly optioned SF90 Spider offers an
opportunity to acquire Ferrari's flagship hybrid experience in a
virtually new example.
