SPECIAL NOTICE
This car is part of the Jay Cimino estate selling at auction. Jay, with his dedication to service to Veterans, founded the Mt. Carmel Veterans Service Center in Colorado Springs. All Proceeds from the Sale of this 1966 Caprice will go to the Mt. Carmel Veterans Service Center to continue the good work it does for those who have served their country.
This Caprice is a solid, "sleeper" of a Muscle Car. Body and Paint show consistent with the car being enjoyed as a driver. The Burnt Orange Exterior, factory wheels, hubcaps and beauty ring provides an aggressive stance to this car. As a hardtop coupe, the car was positioned in 1966 as Chevrolet's top line full-size car.
Jay Cimino was a Business Icon in the automotive industry in Colorado, a renowned philanthropist and an avid collector of cars. Please note that all of the cars in the Jay Cimino Collection have been stored in a climate-controlled environment for many years, with only limited driving. The Jay Cimino team has confirmed that the vehicles start and run. Please note, however, as a result of their extended storage and static display, all the cars will benefit from additional mechanical attention before being driven.
