1973 Plymouth Duster 340 | Factory Dark Gold Metallic | 4-Speed
Manual | QA1 Tubular Front Suspension | Well-Optioned Example
LaFontaine Classic Cars is proud to present this 1973 Plymouth
Duster 340, a factory-built muscle car with excellent pedigree and
desirable options. Originally built at Dodge Main in Hamtramck,
Michigan, this Duster retains its authentic character, backed by a
detailed fender tag decode.
Finished in its original JY9 Dark Gold Metallic exterior with
contrasting white longitudinal and transverse stripes, this Duster
strikes an unmistakable muscle-era stance. Chrome exhaust tips,
dual racing mirrors, roof drip rail moldings, and wide sill
moldings further enhance its sporty appearance.
Power comes from the factory E55 340ci 4-barrel V8, originally
rated at 275 horsepower, paired here with an A833 4 speed manual
transmission. QA1 Tubular upper and lower control arms have been
added with a front sway bar and single adjustable torsion bars.
Stopping power is provided by front disc brakes with 10-inch rear
drums, and breathing is handled through a dual-exhaust system with
chrome tips. A 26-inch radiator, coolant recovery system, and
60-amp alternator (F13) round out its robust equipment.
Inside, the car was optioned with the Interior Decor Group,
featuring a parchment vinyl split bench seat (C4L3), full door
panels, and thoughtful trim details all of which in excellent
condition. A solid-state AM radio, heated rear window defogger, and
factory touches highlight the cars blend of performance and
comfort.
This Duster is a well-optioned Mopar that is ready to be enjoyed by
the next caretaker. Included with the sale are the stock Rallye
wheels and tires. Original Owners Manuals, Warranty booklet,
2-keys, and a car cover
