Arriving soon! This is Oldsmobile's 442 "Mod Rod" - a one of a kind
factory show car that debuted at the Chicago Auto Show in 1968. It
was featured on a turntable in the Oldsmobile display under the
banner "Olds is Young" along with a young model in matching attire.
It continued to be shown at various other new car auto shows across
North America. After the 1968 auto show season the car was
purchased by an Oldsmobile dealer in North Carolina who displayed
it on their showroom floor for a period of time. It later became a
daily college commuter for the daughter of the dealership owner
which is when it accumulated most of the 9,000 miles showing on the
odometer today. The original owners removed it from long term
storage in 2016 and put back on the road. It has 9,000 original
miles. It's powered by its matching number 400 cubic inch V8 engine
teamed to its matching number four speed manual transmission. Also
equipped with power steering, power brakes, power windows, power
top, AM/FM radio and a factory eight track tape player. For details
