1970 CHEVY CORVETTENumbers Matching L46 350ci/350hp engine.
Equipped with 4spd. transmission. Finished in its original color,
RARE and beautiful Bridgehampton Blue. Nice chrome throughout. The
factory correct black leather interior is clean and presents nicely
with newly installed carpet from AL Knock Interiors. Equipped with
air conditioning, power steering, power disc brakes, and power
windows. The vacuum for the headlight and wiper door works as it
should. The engine number matches the VIN.. In 2014 the previous
owner states he performed $17,866 worth of work, which included
pulling the engine and performing a valve job, cam, lifter springs,
double roller kit, exhaust valves, intake valves, guide plates,
pushrod set, and roller tip rocker set. While the engine was out
the seals were replaced, new cylinder head gaskets, intake,
manifold gasket, exhaust gasket, oil pan gasket set, valve cover
gasket set, water pump, and thermostat gasket set. All rubber fuel
lines and clamps were replaced. New upper and lower radiator hoses
installed, new V belt, and new bushings installed, front and rear
brake calipers were replaced, as well as a new brake booster and
master cylinder were installed. New polyurethane, engine, and
transmission mounts installed. A new fuel filter, a new
distributor, cap, and rotor. New ignition, condenser,
points/contact set. New spark plugs and spark plug wire set
installed. Brass Expansion plugs replaced. The engine was cleaned
and painted. Replaced rear knuckles, link bushings, and rear
shocks, new rear arm bushings, and new springs. New U-Joints, upper
and lower control arm bushings, and ball joints, as well as swaybar
links, and front shocks were installed. The radiator has been
re-cored, and a new fan clutch assembly has been installed. A new
steering control valve was installed. Retrofitted AC to use R134
refrigerant. The underside is detailed as well as the engine
compartment. The relatively low production in 1970 was caused by a
labor dispute that started in May 1969. This dispute caused the
1969 production run to be stretched 4 months and the 1970 run to be
cut short. This example has Rally wheels and RWL tires. Wearing
newer paint, this beautiful Vette will impress and look great as a
rare addition to anyone's Muscle Car collection!
