Oldsmobile introduced the Cutlass in 1961 and would be a household
name until 1999. By the late 1960's the Cutlass evolved into a
distinct series of its own, spawning numerous variants including
the 4-4-2 which would enter the Muscle car era. Probably most don't
know that the name Cutlass was used in 1955 for Olds Cutlass on
display at Motorama. I think the second generation for the car was
by far the most attractive and would be introduced in 1964 and last
until 1967. This particular Cutlass is an excellent driver quality
car that is a factory Air car and equipped with a 3-speed Manual
transmission along with a power convertible top that operates
flawlessly. This car has had a body on re-spray in black, the car
has had a retrofitted Air conditioning with R134a and is in ready
to drive condition. This is an excellent opportunity to get in the
collector car hobby for a fraction of what other collector cars are
costing. The paint is nice and fresh, the interior is in good
original condition, the trunk and engine compartment are original
and in unmolested condition, the underside is decent with only
surface rust on expected areas. The wheels and tires are new with
new trim rings that come with the car. We liked them without. We
encourage any questions or inspections here in our Traverse City
location.
