By VIN code, This rare convertible car came out of the factory
equipped with a 383/330 hp Magnum engine. It has been upgraded to a
rebuilt 440 engine with 375+ hp. The rare Magnum exhaust manifolds
were retained and bolted on the existing engine. These manifolds
sell these days for around $5000 for a pair. The Newport's engine
is mated to an Automatic 727 transmission. The paint is ok , not
show quality by any means. it was repainted the factory color some
time ago and is showing some wear. It has a lot of new parts
including new Torque-Thrust wheels , new tires, new top (in the
box), a new boot, new hydraulic cylinders, new hydraulic pump, new
electric window motors, new alternator, new carb, new master
cylinder, etc. The car is fun to drive with power steering, power
brakes , power windows and offers zippy performance too!.
