under the hood, paired with a 700-R4 automatic transmission with
overdrive, combining vintage charm with practical drivability for
modern cruising. The restoration is well-maintained, with minor
stress marks on the paint and some small imperfections typical of a
classic car of this age. Beautiful chrome details, including bright
headlight bezels, grill, spoked wheels with Packard center caps,
and wide whitewall radial tires. The interior matches the
exterior's two-tone theme, featuring black and white upholstery,
power windows, with seat belts up front. The dash retains its
original style. The black fabric convertible top operates via a
simple push-pull lever under the dash, raising and lowering
smoothly, and the rear plastic window remains clear with minor
assistance needed to fully close the rear side glass. Note under
the ignition key is a push botton for starting, be sure to also
have the fuel pump toggle turned on (drivers kick panel). Brakes
are in good shape with about 70-80% pad life remaining, though a
minor wheel cylinder seep has been noted at the left rear. The
engine bay is clean and mainly stock appearing, with a battery
disconnect switch installed for storage. On the road the car
performs smoothly and quietly, showcasing its luxurious ride
quality, solid construction, effective brakes, and responsive
automatic transmission with working kickdown.
