GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this beautifully restored
1964 Ford Falcon Futura for your consideration. Finished in a sleek
Black exterior over a custom Black interior with red-accented
bucket seats, this Falcon is powered by a K-code 289 cubic inch
HiPo V8, stroked to a roaring 317ci and showing just 1,250 miles
since the fresh build. The engine is loaded with high-performance
internals including Oliver stroker rods, Wiseco forged pistons, a
Boss 302 steel crankshaft, solid lifter performance camshaft, and
topped with dual Holley 390 CFM carburetors. It's backed by a Ford
Top Loader Rug 4-speed manual transmission, sending power to a Ford
9-inch rear axle with a 3.90 gear ratio and Detroit Locker
differential. Additional highlights include a Pertronix Ignitor III
ignition system with built-in rev limiter, 1" headers, aluminum
radiator with Spal performance fan, Hurst Competition Plus shifter,
front disc brakes, 11" rear drums, rear air shocks, and custom 15"
offset wheels by Vintage Wheels wrapped in Cooper Radial GT tires.
Inside, you'll find all-new glass, rechromed trim, a
performance-style steering wheel, and a fully reupholstered
interior with chrome grommets and red accents. The car also
features a custom functional hood scoop, new wiring throughout,
heater and under-dash components, and comes with a trove of extras
including three pairs of 289 HiPo heads, one pair of 260 heads, RC
Industries bellhousing scattershield, two extra Ford axles
(including a 9-inch), a spare, and extensive documentation and
receipts from the build. Drive this one out of our showroom or have
us assist with shipping it to you anywhere in the United States!

The 1964 Ford Falcon marked the final year of the first generation
and continued Ford's mission of offering a compact, affordable car
with sporty styling. Positioned as a more refined and stylish
version of the base Falcon, the Futura trim offered upgraded
interior appointments and exterior detailing. While the Falcon
originally catered to economy-minded buyers, its lightweight
chassis and growing aftermarket support made it a favorite among
hot rodders and performance enthusiasts. It also served as the
foundational platform for the soon-to-be-launched Mustang, sharing
many mechanical components. With its clean lines and growing
collectability, the '64 Falcon Futura remains a standout in early
American compact car history.
