This classic 1966 Chevrolet Malibu was built in the Baltimore Maryland assembly plant. Built with factory power windows and green tinted glass. It was also a heater and radio delete build and it was shipped directly to Bolivia in South America. It spent its life in Bolivia until 2019 when it came back to the United States. I purchased the car in the spring of 2019. In the fall of 2019 I purchased a 5.3 LS motor with a 4L60E transmission. That motor and transmission came from a 2004 Silverado. I hired a professional mechanic to install the new unit. He did a great job and no expense was spared. Not only was it done correctly it was done very neatly. Since the LS swap was done over five years ago I have never had any troubles. These LS motors and transmissions make for a fabulous upgrade that you can drive anywhere. I have also had suspension upgrades and a front disc brake kit installed. A new fuel tank was added to allow for the fuel injection engine. A positraction rear differential unit was installed with a 3.73 Yukon center section, ring and pinion gear along with new bearings and seals.
This little beauty is finished in Artisian Turquoise metallic with a White Ermine roof. The vinyl interior is done in a matching Turquoise.
In addition an aluminum radiator was installed with electric fans to keep her cool.
Sporting 17 inch Foose wheels and General G-max tires on all four corners.
This classic Chevrolet runs exceptionally well and rides just as nice.
The floors are solid due to it's life in South America. There has been one repaint prior to 2019. The paint shows well as does the interior.
