1970 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE SS 396 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION • FACTORY A/C
• WELL OPTIONED This 1970 Chevelle SS stuns in factory color code
75, Cranberry Red, accented by bold black SS stripes across the
hood and trunk lid. It features a functional Cowl Induction hood
with factory hood pins, giving it a commanding presence. The body
is laser-straight with excellent fit and finish, and the glossy
paint shines beautifully. Up front, the headlight bezels, grille,
and bumper are in outstanding condition. All stainless trim is
polished to a chrome-like finish. It has newer weather stripping
and door seals, and rides on 14x7 factory SS Rally wheels wrapped
in new Wide Oval radial tires-delivering the authentic look it
deserves. The engine bay is nicely detailed and true to the
original. This Chevelle houses a correct 396 ci / 350 hp motor with
suffix code CTW. The VIN matches the rebuilt engine, which features
factory chrome valve covers and a Cowl Induction air cleaner.
Additional highlights include: Factory A/C (blows cold), Rochester
carburetor, Power steering, Delco Moraine power brake booster with
correct master cylinder, GM hoses and spring-type battery cables
and a 4-core radiator. The engine compartment is finished in satin
black-clean, tidy, and show-ready. The Ivory bucket seat interior
looks like new. Seats have fresh upholstery and cushions,
complemented by newer carpet and sill plates. The dash is in
excellent condition and includes optional tach and gauges. Heater
and A/C controls slide smoothly. Other features: factory AM/FM
radio, Sure Grip 3-spoke SS steering wheel, tilt steering column,
working courtesy lights, aftermarket Chevelle SS floor mats,
original GM front and rear seatbelts. The underbody is clean and
solid. Front suspension and steering have been rebuilt and
detailed. The bottom of the motor and Turbo 400 automatic
transmission are spotless. Key components include: power steering,
front power disc brakes, new fuel and brake lines, new gas tank,
straps and sending unit, 12-bolt rear with 3.31 gears, F41
suspension with boxed rear control arms and sway bar and a new 2.5"
dual exhaust with correct cowbell tips. Fully functional E-brake
assembly. The underside is just as impressive as the top! The Trunk
is finished with a light coat of spatter paint. The trunk includes:
trunk mat, correct spare tire, jack assembly and new weather
stripping. This Chevelle SS is as close to new as it gets. It
drives beautifully, has cold A/C, looks incredible, and sounds even
better. MAKE IT YOURS! *Please contact us for the most complete
