The Chevrolet Blazer was first introduced in 1969 to compete with
Ford's Bronco. The Blazer's larger size and wheelbase proved to be
very popular with new truck buyers thanks to its roomier interior
and better handling characteristics. In today's market, the
Chevrolet Blazer is one of the most popular platforms to restore or
build into the perfect resto-mod. That is exactly what we have here
in this stunning 1971 Chevrolet Blazer Resto-Mod. This Blazer
benefits from a 10 year old restoration that still presents very
fresh today, finished in its bright red exterior paint that is in
excellent condition throughout. The bright red exterior is nicely
complimented by custom, hand laid pinstriping on the hood, front
fenders and tailgate, factory style chrome and stainless trim, and
polished Riddler wheels wrapped in Lexani tires (dated 2022).
During the restoration, the front end of the Blazer was converted
to a 1968 C10 front clip. This striking Blazer features a custom
TMI Black leather and suede bucket seat interior that is in
excellent condition. Powering this beautiful Blazer is a
fuel-injected LS 5.3 liter V8 backed by a 700R4 4-speed automatic
transmission. Both the engine and transmission perform just as they
should and deliver a much smoother and more powerful driving
experience than stock. Transferring the power to the rear tires is
a late-model Trans-Am rear end with 3.08:1 final drive gears and
limited slip differential. This Blazer is nicely equipped with
options such as: power steering, power 4-wheel disc brakes, tilt
steering column, Omega Kustom digital gauges, Halo headlights, LED
turn signals, and LED sequential brake lights. If you are in the
market for an excellent and very well restored 1st gen Blazer with
an unique flair that is sure to command attention at any car show
or cruise-in, then you will want to take a very close look at this
gorgeous 1971 Chevrolet Blazer Resto-Mod.
