The beautiful and powerful 1991 Mercedes-Benz 560 SEC Coupe in Smoke Silver over Mushroom Beige leather. This was THE big boy car to own in the 80's and 90's and 1991 was the end of an era of overbuilt, zero compromise engineering from the Silver Star. This Bruno Sacco designed masterpiece is considered one of the best built, best designed S-Class models of all time. This 3 owner car was purchased from Fletcher Jones Mercedes in Newport Beach and always garaged. At purchase the Mercedes was immediately taken to Bruce Strauss Motorworks in LA for an engine upgrade that included high output cams, heads re-worked, exhaust valves and Upgraded wheel package (very rare upgrade). This work added additional horsepower at a rumored cost of $25,000. As a result, we truly believe this is one of the nicest last-year examples on the market. We did confirm through Dyno testing that this car is putting about 50hp more than stock down through the rear wheels. The body on the car is in very good condition and was extremely well maintained. The paint on the car is finished in its original color of Smoke Silver is in very good condition. This SEC was treated to a glass-out repaint earlier in life and has been professionally cut and buffed to a wonderful shine! The car has been completely inspected underneath from front to back and is solid as a rock as any well cared for garaged car should be. All chrome trim, glass, and rubber seals are in great shape and original. This car shows fantastic for its age and miles and has always been well cared for.

The interior is the highlight of this car and in like new condition all around. The dash and door panels are in very nice condition with zero cracks or damage to be noted anywhere. Original leather, dash, wood, carpet and headliner are like new. All dials and controls function as they should, power windows and antenna also are fully functional. All lights, gauges switches, and accessories work as they should. The trunk compartment is very clean and does have the original jack, new tools, and the original spare tire and wheel.

Mechanically, this SEC runs GREAT! I have owned nearly 20 80's and 90's era Mercedes vehicles, and this car is definitely in the top tier! The V8 engine is very quick and responsive. It is reliable, easy to fix, and parts are readily available. The 5.6L V8 has been Mercedes workhorse engine for nearly 30 years, so you know it is just plain reliable. The suspension is very tight and feels solid even at autobahn speeds above 90mph, and is claimed to have a top speed of 156 MPH! The car is tight and right as many other even lower mileage cars are, with no leaks or current mechanical issues. The car will include keys, tools, spare tire, repair documentation and owners manual.

All in all, this is beautiful SEC for the miles. It has been professionally maintained and truly loved by its previous owner.
