Seven Hills Motorcars is proud to offer this numbers matching 1982
Corvette in fantastic condition with only 49,870 original miles.
This Corvette looks amazing, runs great, and is an excellent
driver. The White (10) paint over Charcoal Leather (18I) interior
is a very beautiful and desirable color combination that looks
stunning on the car. It is also the correct and original color
scheme as verified by the codes on the trim tag, which are pictured
in this ad. As one can see in the photos the car has an American
flag graphic on the car. This is a decal that could be removed by
the future owner if they would like.
We purchased this Corvette from a long-term owner who had the car
for over 27 years. He purchased the car in 1998 and at that time it
had 31,827 miles. His family said that he was the third owner of
the car. They said that the original owner traded the car into
Central Cadillac in 1985. He owned the car until 1998 when it was
purchased by the previous owner. We has the invoice from the
Cadillac dealership that sold the car in 1985. The family said the
car was always stored indoors. The previous owner was very
meticulous and took great care of the car and was also a member of
the East Ohio Corvette club. He kept very detailed records of his
ownership and of all the maintenance and work he did to the car.
There are also dozens of receipts that go back to 1998 and the last
one is from 2024 where the $1,825 was spent servicing the car. The
receipts total over $11,500 in maintenance for the car over the
years. There is a thick binder, pictured in this ad, that contains
everything done to the car over the past 27 years.
In addition to all the records and receipts, the car also comes
with a reproduction window sticker and the factory build sheet,
which are both pictured in this ad. It is very rare to have a build
sheet for a late C3 Corvette, but it is great to have to verify the
original paint and trim codes as well as all the original options.
The original owner's manual is also still with the car as well as
the T-Top bages.
Besides the correct paint and trim codes this Corvette is "Numbers
Matching" meaning the engine and transmission in the car are the
correct and original units that were installed in the car new at
the factory in Blowing Green in March of 1982. We have run the
numbers on literally hundreds of Corvettes over the years and there
are very few that are so correct and original as this car. Even
very detailed parts like the distributor, intake, and both throttle
bodies, are all original. The last six digits of the VIN, 108842,
are stamped on the engine pad, which is pictured in this ad, and
the engine is original to the car. The transmission is also
original with the last six digits of the VIN stamped on the main
case and pictured as well.
There is a copy of the AutoCheck vehicle history report in this ad.
The report is clean, shows no accidents, and verifies the low
original mileage. This Corvette is absolutely loaded with options
such as glass T-Tops, power seat, power mirrors, power locks, and
N90 aluminum wheels.
This is an excellent opportunity to own a classic Corvette that is
ready to be used and enjoyed at an unbeatable value. One could
easily buy this car now and sell it for more than the purchase
price in years to come as the market on the 1980 through 1982
Corvettes is strong right now and on the rise. In our experience
the 1980 to 1982 model years draw a good premium over other late C3
Corvettes; this is especially true for high-quality low mileage
examples like this car. The low original mileage is verified not
only by the condition of the car, but also the clear Ohio title,
pictured in this ad, showing the mileage as "Actual." Please peruse
all of the photos, the extensive list of numbers, video, and
information to get a true sense of how nice, clean, and original
this Corvette really is.
As a side note, this Corvette is not a dealer auction vehicle. We
hand pick each car after careful inspection. Our Corvettes come
from owners who expect their car to go to someone that will give
the vehicle the same care and attention as they did. We invite and
encourage you to examine the car in person or have the car
inspected. Please take the time to scrutinize each picture. We
photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so you can feel
confident about your purchase. If you have a question about the
Corvette, just give us a call.
Exterior
The White (10) exterior is in fantastic condition. As one can see
in the photos the finish has a terrific gloss, deep shine, and
smooth finish. Both doors open and shut nicely. As stated above,
the American flag graphic is a decal and should be able to be
removed if the future owner would like. The N90 aluminum wheels and
1982 Corvette specific center caps are in beautiful condition with
a brilliant finish and no curb rash. The Goodyear Eagle GT II
raised white letter tires have plenty of tread and are correctly
sized 255/60R15. We know this is the correct size the car was
ordered with new because of the QXH code on the window sticker and
build sheet. There are no major imperfections that have been
intentionally excluded from the photos. As one would expect from a
paint job with this many years on it there are some a couple very
faint spots on the front bumper and there may be other tiny
imperfections around the car, but nothing that is really noticeable
from about five feet away. This Corvette is totally solid and has
no rust issues. As one can see in the many photos of the underside
of the car, it is very clean underneath. The frame is totally solid
with no rust around the "key hole" area in front of the rear tire
and we have seen no corrosion around the windshield frame or
"birdcage," which are the two most notorious spots for rust on a C3
Corvette. We have included specific photos of the areas most prone
to rust to show how nice this car looks.
Interior
The Charcoal Leather (18I) interior in this Corvette is in
excellent condition. The gauge faces are crisp and clean and the
lenses are crystal clear. The dash and console look great with no
cracks, fading, or sun damage. The carpet is in great shape with no
holes, rips, or major fading. The door panels are in great shape
overall and the door pulls are solid and intact. Unlike many other
C3 Corvettes, the door panels also fit well and tight to the door.
The seats look just as great in person as they do in the photos.
Please note that these appear to be the original seats and skins,
not some cheap covers or aftermarket replacements. The left seat
does have a spot of wear in the typical area on the bolster where
the driver gets in and out. The steering wheel is also in great
shape, which is a very common problem on the 1982 model year. The
jack and jack handle are still with the car, stored correctly in
the compartment behind the passenger seat. The original spare is
still with the car and has never been used. Please note that both
seat belts work and retract properly. This is a common problem on
C3 Corvettes and an issue many buyers do not think to check. This
Corvette has never been smoked in; there are no burn marks and no
aroma of cigarettes.
Corvette interiors from this era are not known to wear well over
time and the excellent condition of this original interior is a
huge testament to the meticulous care and attention this car has
received throughout its life and another great verification of the
low original mileage.
