This solid 1959 Ford F100 is virtually original except for some
upholstery work and some mechanical upgrades. The style-side body
is in good condition and the finish can best be described as 'Ivory
Patina'. Accents include a diamond-plate rear bumper, 'custom'
aluminum bed cap w/jalousie windows and steel wheels with dog-dish
caps and wide-whites.
The interior is clean and comfortable with a reupholstered
red/white vinyl bench seat. The dash holds a full factory gauge
package plus additional Stewart-Warner gauges and you can listen to
your favorite tunes on a AM/FM/8-track sound system. This classic
Ford ton is powered by what is believed to be a 292ci/2V that has
never required a rebuild. When new, the 'Y-block' was rated 200hp
and this one sounds strong. Cooling is managed by an aluminum
radiator and a new generator has been installed. The engine is
backed by a 3-speed manual transmission (column shift) and factory
differential. Brakes have been upgraded to disc/drum units with
power assist. There is lots of fun and hard work left in this Ford
F100 pick-up. Take it home and enjoy it. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS
IS".
