introduced the world to Ford?s legendary Flathead V8, built at the
Rouge Engine Plant in Dearborn, Michigan. Delivering 221 cubic
inches, 65 horsepower, and 125 ft-lbs of torque, this engine marked
a turning point in affordable performance. Ford even shut down all
production lines to retool for its launch.Other firsts included a
synchronizing transmission and dual water pumps, ensuring smoother
operation and better cooling. This example is finished in Ford
Medium Maroon with black fenders, one of the eight authentic body
