In 2001 Ford produced a special edition Mustang inspired by the iconic 1968 Mustang driven by Steve McQueen in the Movie "Bullitt". It features a unique blend of Retro and Modern stylistic cues and performance enhancements. It is known for its classic, understated appearance. It came standard with a 4.6-liter V8 engine which produced five more horsepower than the standard GT, a 5-speed manual transmission, Brembo disc brakes, 11.65-inch rear disc brakes with dual-piston calipers, and 5-spoke American Racing Torq-thrust style wheels. This Bullitt, like McQueen's is Dark Hunter Green. The Bullitt also came with a unique hood scoop, a brushed aluminum shifter knob, and aluminum pedal covers. Only 5,582 Special edition Bullitt's were produced in 2001 and the cars were specially numbered by Ford. This Bullitt is number 0702.
This low mileage gem has only 40,000 miles. It is one of the 3,041 Bullitt's in Dark Hunter Green from 2001. It looks great inside and out.
