Race Inspired Famed Z28 Camaro. Driving automotive experience.
Engineered for record setting performance.
The fourth generation Camaro Z28 is aggressive, it is also smooth,
subtle and curvaceous. Sexy the Z28 is only the hood and rear
quarter panels are made of steel; the rest is produced from dent
resistant compounds. No more door dings! Abetted by stylish alloy
wheels and Hankook Ventus V2 tires it states performance!
The Z28 features the 5.7L OHV LT1 V8 engine with a Mass Air Flow
system, and a 4-speed (4L60E) automatic transmission. In '94 saw
the Assembly Line Diagnostic Link (ALDL) which is on-board
diagnostics system developed by General Motors. A non-removable
reflashable chip, which can be reprogrammed. Performance figures
for the Z28 included a 0-60 mph acceleration time of 5.7. The LT1's
torque plateau pulls from low revs with a slightly mechanical
urgency; the LS1 layers on a freer-revving top end and a noticeable
weight saving over the nose, sharpening turn-in. Throttle is
cable-actuated and linear; response improves markedly with the
LS1's lighter rotating assembly. Matched to a TH350 and a 3.43
Posi.
Up front sits a short/long-arm arrangement with coil springs and an
anti-roll bar; out back, a live axle is located by a torque arm,
trailing links, and a Panhard rod. The performance handling package
on the '94 Z28 is rock solid.
The Camaro's cockpit has large, adjustable bucket seats that
provide support for comfortable driving. In the rear are contoured
seats in back allow seating for four. When more storage space is
needed, folding down the rear seats almost doubles the trunk space,
plus there are several small storage areas. The two-tone cloth
interior is spotless. Solar-Ray glass all-around reduces glare,
while the unique aerodynamically designed windshield wipers are
designed to operate efficiently at high speeds. Another aerodynamic
exercise is the design treatment in the side view mirror areas that
improves the appearance as it smooths out the airflow and reduces
wind noise. Removable T-tops give that open air experience. Fully
equipped with PW windows, PW mirrors, PW steering, and A/C.
The Camaro has a racier feel, an impression refined ride quality.
Camaro's rowdy 350 sounds straight out of an old Can-Am car. This
is a soon to be collector car.
Add it to your collection for $14,000.00!
