--Cannock Black with Black leather interior, Black carpeting and
Black Everflex top, 49,000 miles from new, Rare 5-speed manual
gearbox. Well-known to Autosport Designs having been sold and
serviced by us in the past.This V8 Volante was purchased when new
from Miller Motorcars Aston Martin in Greenwich, Connecticut by a
well-known East Coast Collector and AMOC member. It was
subsequently kept for many years in his collection and enjoyed
summer months in NY and winter months in Palm Beach, Florida.
During this ownership, it has been enthusiastically and properly
cared for. This V8 Volante was traded in to Autosport Designs, Inc.
and sold to a German collector/collection. Upon its arrival in
Germany, this V8 Volante was converted to European chrome bumpers,
correct front and rear valances and fitted with factory 16 Ronal
type wheels by a German Aston specialist, it was also serviced
yearly to keep in tip top condition throughout. It remained in the
collection for several years. Purchased once again in 2021 by
Autosport Designs, Inc., this V8 Volante was re-imported to the
United States Autosport Designs. At the time the Volante received
major servicing as well as sympathetic restoration which included a
bare metal respray to bring to absolutely superb condition.
Subsequently, this V8 Volante was sold to a California client. It
has since received limited use, until recently coming back to the
Autosport Designs, Inc. inventory to be offered for sale. This V8
Volante has excellent ownership history, it has always been Aston
Martin collector owned and cared. It has recently been service, it
comes complete with its original manual and factory tool kit and is
ready for immediate use and enjoyment.
