No Reserve Classics is proud to present to you our 1968 Ford
Mustang GT Fastback, an all original 1 of 1 car!
This rare Mustang is finished in the iconic Highland Green,
instantly evoking a timeless and commanding presence. As part of
the factory GT Equipment Group package, it sports fog lamps
integrated into the grille, GT badging, and performance-oriented
trim that distinguishes it from the standard Fastback. The fastback
profile gives it a muscular yet refined silhouette, capturing the
essence of late-1960s American performance.
Under the hood, lies the original numbers-matching J Code 302-4V V8
engine paired to a 4 speed manual transmission and a
factory-installed air conditioning unit. This setup not only
delivers strong performance but also offers rare originality,
further confirmed by the presence of the buck tag and fender
stampings for authentication. Every detail under the hood speaks to
its heritage and authenticity, ensuring this Mustang's place among
the most desirable original builds.
Inside, the Mustang features a highly optioned black interior,
showcasing a split bench seat-an uncommon choice that sets this car
apart. A factory tachometer and trip odometer bring functionality
and rarity. Complementing the setup is the desirable sport deck
rear seat, and the inclusion of factory air conditioning, making
this cabin both driver-focused and comfortable. In the rear of the
trunk, the car comes with a full size spare, a mustang branded
parts bag and an original Ford fire extinguisher. Found in the
trunk as well are the original headers and carburetor meaning it
has all of the original parts traveling with it.
Underneath the car, this GT Fastback retains its stock 1968 Mustang
underpinnings. The suspension, frame rails, and floor pans all
reflect the originality and preservation expected of such a
significant car. With its authentic factory setup, the underbody
stands as a testament to the engineering Ford delivered with the GT
package-balanced performance with reliable construction.
More than just a well-preserved Mustang, this 1 of 1 build has seen
the spotlight at numerous Mustang rallies and an Elite Marti
Report. Its originality and uniqueness have also earned it a place
of honor at the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals (MCACN),
solidifying its reputation as a truly rare and historically
significant Mustang.
