This 1967 Pontiac Firebird has been built with the perfect blend of
classic Pontiac styling and modern performance upgrades. Power
comes from a stout 450HP GM Crate 406 stroker engine that is paired
to a Howard 233-241 cam topped with Fi Tech fuel injection for
crisp throttle response and reliability. An Edelbrock aluminum
Air-Gap intake manifold and aluminum heads help this Firebird
breathe easy, while ceramic-coated headers ensure performance, and
a deep muscle car tone. The Skip White Performance chrome aluminum
front drive setup not only performs flawlessly but also adds a
clean, high-end look to the engine bay.
Backing the powerplant is a TH400 with is a B&M Holeshot 2800
stall torque converter, transferring power through a 3.08 US Gear
Posi-traction rear end. This setup provides a strong launch while
still maintaining excellent street manners for cruising. Beneath
the car, the suspension has been upgraded with a QA1 GM Pro
coilover kit paired with front tubular upper and lower control
arms, delivering improved handling and adjustability. Out back, QA1
rear shocks work with frame connectors for added rigidity, while
Moser axles and a Moser rear cover provide strength and
reliability. Adjustable Cal-Trac traction bars keep the power
planted, and the strong 12-bolt rear end ensures the Firebird is
built to handle serious performance.
Inside, this Firebird features a freshly finished cabin with black
bucket seats that give it a clean, factory-inspired look with a
modern edge. A Classic Instruments Velocity dash keeps all vital
readings clear and precise. Tunes are handled by a RetroSound
radio, blending vintage style with modern convenience, and a GT
Grant steering wheel adds a sporty feel and confident grip behind
the wheel. Overall, the interior strikes a perfect balance between
period-correct muscle car charm and tasteful upgrades for todays
driving experience.
