INTRODUCTION: Only 225 mi on a body off frame, rotisserie
restoration by Jerry Miller. Jerry's classics is the country's
leading expert in 57-59 Ford Fairlane restoration and parts. This
one's loaded up with options from air conditioning and power
windows to dual spotlights and much more. *I just got back from a
cruise night with this car, wow is it nice! It caught everyone's
attention as I pulled in. Everything functions down to the power
seat and even the clock!
EXTERIOR: Fabulous finned 57! It was taken down to a bare shell and
put on a rotisserie. The body is arrow straight with no rust or
damage. The gaps are right on, the doors shut like new. Repainted
in its beautiful original flame red and it is polished like a
mirror. Accented with a bright white power top. It's fully decked
out with a bumper guard in front, dual spotlights with mirrors,
rocker moldings with stone shields, fender skirts and the trunk
mounted antenna. Of course the chrome wire wheels wrapped in radial
white walls really finish it off! The chrome and trim was all
replaced or restored during restoration. The windshield and
weatherstrips were all replaced.
INTERIOR: It's loaded up with accessories inside as well! It is
meticulously restored like new. For your convenience it has power
windows, power top and a power seat. It has an optional padded dash
and you'll also notice. The optional Town and Country radio was
rebuilt and upgraded with FM internals, the scanner works! The
clock was rebuilt with quartz movement. The modern air conditioner
is neatly mounted below the dash and will throw ice cubes on your
lap! The dash area is restored like new: the gauges, knobs,
controls, steering wheel are mint, the optional dash pad is new.
The seats were rebuilt and upholstered. The door panels, armrests
and carpet were replaced along with embroidered mats.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This Fairlane was ordered with the Thunderbird
Special 312 motor making 245 hp. It is restored to factory
condition and highly detailed. The modern air conditioning was very
neatly added.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Like new in here as well! Completely painted
gloss red. The weatherstrip, well liner, trunk liner, wiring were
replaced. The spare is a restored rim with a never used 5th
matching whitewall. The jack is restored and complete with lug
wrench and instruction decal.
UNDERSIDE: The body shell was lifted off of the chassis and then
flipped on a rotisserie. It has pristine metal front to back and
it's painted gloss red like the car. The chassis was disassembled,
prepped and painted gloss black. All of the suspension, steering
and brakes have been rebuilt. The fuel system was completely
replaced including the tank. It has a factory type dual exhaust
system with the optional tips. Looking up at the motor it is
spotless, the oil pan is actually painted glossy! The Ford-o-Matic
transmission looks fresh and a rebuilt drive shaft goes back to the
serviced rear end with 3.10 gears.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we
built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and
hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car
we sell.
CONCLUSION: Again, there isn't a person in this country I'd rather
have restore a 57 Fairlane other than Jerry Miller. He knows these
cars intimately, has the parts and the reputation. Go find one of
these with options like this one, restore every item and see how
much time and money that takes. Here is an opportunity to get an
incredible car at a fantastic value!
For nearly 30 years, I, Jay Grams, have personally written the
highlights for almost every car in our collection. What I provide
is my professional opinion based on my experience with these
vehicles. However, opinions can vary, and I strongly recommend a
personal inspection to form your own view. Our sales team is always
available to answer any questions you may have. One great option is
to request a personalized walk-around video, where we can showcase
the car and share our team's insights. **Our cars are displayed
within a museum setting. If you are interested in a specific
vehicle, please schedule an appointment with a salesperson to view
it. Without an appointment, there is an admission fee to enter the
showroom. If you decide to purchase a car, your admission will be
refunded, and you'll receive a one-year museum membership.
