This is a super nice example of a Non-Numbers matching Fastback
finished in Jazz blue with a fresh interior. The Marti report that
comes with the car indicates that this unit would have been a 289
with an automatic. This is now a 302 mated to a 4-speed manual. The
paint code was Y for Dark Moss Green, which the car has been
painted a really nice Jazz Blue. This was a fifteen-year labor of
love father and son frame off restoration that was completed about
three years ago and very little miles. The stock interior has been
completely redone, all new wiring, LED lighting and much more. The
engine was completely machined by Thirlby machine shop that was
bored .30 over with a larger cam and hardened valves and seats with
a 550 Holley feeding it the fuel it needs. The transmission and
rear end were tended to by Heiges Performance. The rear end is a
2.79, the car has power steering with front disc brakes. These
Fastbacks are one of the coolest mustang designs in my opinion and
you add the Sport Deck Rear seat and you have yourself a winner.
This was a California built and sold car on 9/30/66. There is a lot
of time and money invested in this build and would welcome and
