Over the years, the Porsche 912 has become a collector's classic. As a Porsche sportscar, it combines the charm of the Porsche 911 with the practicality and simplicity of the earlier 356 model. This 1969 Porsche 912 Targa is featured in Bahama Yellow with black interior, black targa top and is powered by a 1.6-liter flat four-cylinder air-cooled engine which was originally paired with a 4-speed transmission.

This Porsche 912 originally a California car was factory delivered wearing Burgundy Red paint and was repainted at the infamous Vasek Polar dealership after a minor fender bender in 1987, at which time the original 4-cylinder motor was replaced with a "special 912 engine" built by Vasek. (note "P" designation on the engine lid, further explanation is in the photo section)

Believed to be the third owner, our customer purchased this Porsche 912 in 2000. At which point a series of documented upgrades and repairs were performed by GN Engineering at approximately 143K miles which included an engine rebuild and 5-speed transmission upgrade.

The paint finish although older shows well and is free of rust and corrosion due to its California roots, the same can be said for the underside of the car. With reupholstered front seats and targa top rebuild, this smooth-running car is ready to be driven and enjoyed by the next owner.
