1962 Austin - Healy 3000 Mk 2 BT7 2+2 roadster. Only 5095 were built in late 1961 and 1962. This car has the original factory installed 2.9 litre inline 6 cylinder 12 valve engine with Three SU HS4 carburetors. 132 hp and the original 4 speed manual transmission with overdrive and the rear axle is 3.90 gears. All the driveline, including the motor, has been rebuilt. The brakes are drums on the rear and discs on the front. The suspension is double wishbones with coil springs on the front, live axle with semi elliptic leaf springs on the rear. The entire car has been restored, including redoing all the chrome, a couple years ago. The leather interior has been redone and is very nice and has full gauge package. Storage behind the rear seat for some luggage. This car came with a factory soft top that was manually raised and lowered so you could drive it in the rain.
