1958 Plymouth Plaza in Viper Red with White Top. Power is provided by a 230ci inline-six linked with a three-speed manual transmission, and equipment includes 14″ steel wheels with covers, two rows of bench seating, and fender-mounted mirrors. The 230ci inline-six was factory equipped with a single-barrel carburetor and was rated at 132 horsepower and 205 lb-ft of torque when new. Extremely solid car with all original floor pans and body/fenders/quarters, older full restoration in 2008 with new paint, new interior with headliner, bumpers re-chromed, fender mirrors added, American Classic whitewall tires, and nice period correct hubcaps installed. Purchased in 2015 from Lawrenceburg, Indiana where the car was originally purchased new and was stored in a barn on an estate for many years. The car started life with the original color of "Metallic Suede" and was painted in Viper Red and Ford White on the top. Since owned starting in 2015 the car has served in 4 weddings where it pictured extremely well and chauffeured brides and grooms to their receptions. The car has also been featured in Melbourne, Florida local news articles. Received many complements on the car over the years on how it looks like John Carpenters movie car "Christine" based on the "Christine" novel by Stephen King. Although not an exact replica of "Christine" as cars used in the move were "Belvedere" hard top models, the car shows very well and has been to an iconic "Christine" movie location in Pasadena, California, "Arnie's House". The car runs and drives well and is mechanically sound, although it may need a tune up with points and timing. Here are the things that do not work on the car: Fuel gage, speedometer (missing spring and cable needs to be connected to trans), does come with another speedometer that may work (not tested), heater core disconnected, car has a slight pull to the right when braking. There are a few rust bubbles on the right rear fender well towards the front (as pictured). Here's what does not come with the car that is in a few of the pictures: Blade fender markers (original flat markers installed), the front "V" emblem (original installed), AM radio (original radio delete panel installed). Since I've owned the car, it has always been garage kept in Virginia, California, and Florida. This Plaza is now offered in Melbourne, Florida, with service records and a clean Virginia title in the seller’s name
