When it comes to the muscle car royalty of the late 1960's and
early 1970's, the 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle 454SS is one of the most
desirable ever produced. With its sharp muscular styling, powerful
big-block drivetrain and well optioned interior, it is easy to see
why these great muscle cars are so widely coveted by muscle car
enthusiasts and collectors alike. This 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle
benefits from a very extensive Resto-Mod style restoration that
pays proper tribute to these legendary muscle cars while adding
extra performance and comfort that cannot be found on the
originals. This stunning Chevelle Resto-Mod is finished in its
period correct Cranberry Red exterior that shines extremely well
and is in excellent condition throughout. The Cranberry Red
exterior is tastefully complimented by a set of period correct,
painted White SS stripes, factory style cowl induction hood,
factory chrome and stainless trim, factory style "454SS" emblems
and a set of aftermarket Riddler wheels riding on Bridgestone
Potenza tires (dated 2021). This Chevelle features a factory style
Black vinyl bucket seat interior with a period correct center
console that is in excellent condition. Powering this beautiful
Chevelle is its big-block 454 cubic inch V8 backed by a 700R4
4-speed automatic transmission. Both the engine and transmission
perform just as they should and have no problem pulling this
Chevelle down the road with ease. Transferring power to the rear
wheels is a GM 12-bolt Posi-traction rear end with 3.55:1 final
drive gears. This Chevelle delivers that unmistakable big-block V8
sound thanks to a set of ceramic coated long tube headers feeding a
custom h-pipe dual exhaust system equipped with Magnaflow mufflers.
Not only does this great Chevelle Resto-Mod have plenty of power to
set you back in the seat, its handles the road very well thanks to
its UMI tubular suspension (consisting of tubular upper and lower
front control arms, and tubular 4-link rear suspension), KYB shocks
and Wilwood 4-wheel power disc brakes. This Chevelle is nicely
equipped with options including: power steering, Wilwood power
4-wheel disc brakes, Vintage Air air conditioning, aftermarket
digital AM/FM stereo w/ Bluetooth, Classic Instruments digital
gauges, tilt steering column, tinted glass, and variable speed
wipers. If you are in the market for a very well built Chevelle
Resto-Mod that runs, drives and presents better than stock and
would show very well at any cruise-in or car show, then you will
want to take a very close look at this gorgeous 1970 Chevrolet
Chevelle Resto-Mod.
