This MK IV Cobra was purchased in 2003 with only 3,000 miles from new from the owner of a Ford Dealership in Trenton, NJ, during first ownership, the stripes were added and the complete car clear coated. When purchased by its most recent and long term owner, the exterior mirrors side mirrors were changed to the current units, and a scoop was added to the bonnet, both were additions recommended by the Detroit Ford SVT Team when the Cobra was shown at an event. At the same time, the team made recommendations for the engine, gearbox as well as its suspension upgrades. The local Ford Dealership had their top Performance Mechanic perform the modifications.
