The Bronco was introduced by Ford in 1966 and was produced over 5
generations before being discontinued in 1996. The popularity of
them has remained strong in the classic car market which likely
contributed to their reintroduction of a 6th generation in 2021
which is still being produced today. They were originally developed
as a compact off road vehicle that received its own chassis and was
Ford's competitor for the Jeep CJ-5 and International Scout. Later
in their run they increased in size to compete with the Chevy
Blazer and Dodge Ramcharger. This 1989 belongs to the 4th
generation and is the XLT version which was the top trim level
available. It is in great condition throughout and a ton of money
has been spent to make it solid and road worthy. It has been a
Texas vehicle since new and has belonged to a single family. It is
painted in Black and the removable hardtop has only been off of it
1 time just to test it out. The original chrome and trim is in
place and in good condition. It also has the front hood guard and
tow package. The lights all work and smoked aftermarket taillights
were added back. The Raceline SL Avenger wheels are new and are
wrapped in Falken Wildpeak tires.
The motor is the original Ford 5.0L with the factory EFI system. It
runs great and has been totally gone through. It is backed by an
AOD transmission that shifts smooth. The 4x4 functionality does
work correctly and these used 10 bolt differentials. From the fuel
system, to the brakes, to the power steering, to the transfer case,
to the fuel injectors....everything has been addressed. It has all
power options and AC which works properly. It needs nothing
mechanically and is ready for the road.
The interior is done in Gray and the upholstery is in great shape
throughout. It has bucket seats in front and a bench in rear. The
seats sit to each side of the center console which has cup holders
and additional storage space. The dash features its original wood
trim and gauges but has an added custom pioneer stereo receiver.
That is not all though because the interior Fosgate speaker system
is incredibly advanced for its time. So much so, that the truck got
personally invited to audio shows to represent the brand.
This is a solid Bronco that comes with pages of receipts dated from
December of 2023 where it was fully gone through by the
professional builders at Cody Crafted in Texas. Don't miss it while
it is still available!
Take it home for $27,500.00!
