The Mercedes W113 type, nick-named - "Pagoda - " due to a distinctive and patented concave hardtop roofline. Many see as one of the most beautiful cars ever built. All 280 SL models were equipped with an inline 6-cylinder engine with mechanical fuel injection. The comparatively short and wide chassis, combined with an excellent suspension, powerful brakes and radial tires gave the 280 SL superb handling for its time.This 280 SL has been restored by a well-known California restoration company some years ago, but remains in superb condition throughout with only the slightest wear to the whatsoever. The structure of this SL was excellent prior to restoration unlike many SL's due to their being used over the years in all weather condition and prone to rust.
