For Sale: 1987 Aston Martin Volante in Huntington Station, New York

--Chichester Blue metallic with Magnolia leather interior piped Dark Blue, Blue carpeting and Blue Mohair (PoW spec) convertible top, Automatic, Limited mileage since various restoration work (both cosmetic and mechanical) by UK Aston specialist restoration, Long-term Aston collector ownership, Matching numbers, Factory fuel injected and uprated 5.8 Liter Big Bore specifications.Completed at the Newport Pagnell works in June of 1987, this V8 Volante was sold new to Andrew Terrand Ltd. As judged by the superb condition today, this Aston has always enjoyed proper care and maintenance in correct and loving ownership. The V8 was then sold in 1991 to a Mr. John Pease. Showing just 13,500 miles in 1997, the V8 was sold to its 3rd owner, Mr. Charles William Cayzar of Chipping Norton. Service records for this V8 date back to 1997 and Mr. Cayzars impeccable ownership. All service work was performed by Oselli, Nicholas Mee & Co and other UK Aston Martin specialists. Some updates carried out during recent restoration include an engine rebuild and uprating to 5.8 liter Big Bore specifications, rebuild of the gearbox, new torque converter, upgraded Koni shocks with handling kit-anti-roll bars, Vantage front air dam, 16-inch Ronal wheels and new exhaust system.Having been in the UK since new, it was purchased in 2016 by a good client and friend of Autosport Designs, a Texas based collector and imported to the United States. Before leaving the UK, Oselli performed the conversion from Right-hand drive to Left-hand drive, completely re-trimmed the interior in new Magnolia leather upholstery and fitted a new (PoW spec) cloth convertible top. Engine work included a complete rebuild to X-Pack plus fuel injected specifications. June 2020 saw this Aston traded to Autosport Designs towards another automobile from our inventory. At this time, the new owner decided to color changed this V8 Volante from Rolls Royce Midnight Blue Met. to his favored Aston color, Chichester Blue. All work was undertaken and photo documented by Autosport Designs and we have serviced and maintained this V8 Volante since. Although not a Vantage with carburetors, this Big Bore specification creates even more horsepower and torque than a standard X-Pack Vantage. On a recent road test, it has ample horsepower and torque which is well suited to the automatic transmission. This V8 Volante is excellent in all respects and has always been serviced and maintained by well-known Aston Martin specialists. It is complete with original owners handbook, tool kit, and large ownership and service file. This V8 Volante is powerful on the open road, yet docile around town and sure not to disappoint in any way.
