This 1974 Plymouth Cuda coupe has received a comprehensive
refurbishment that was completed in 2011. The restoration involved
the installation of a 373ci stroker motor that is built for street
driving and makes this car a blast to drive! The engine started as
a 340ci V8 that was sourced from a 1972 Barracuda donor car, then
bored and stroked to displace 373ci and fitted with Electromotive
fuel injection, a roller camshaft, a Mopar M1 intake manifold, and
electronic ignition. The car was repainted in orange with black
accents, and the black interior has been redone. Other equipment
includes a black vinyl roof, a rebuilt three-speed automatic
transmission, a Sure Grip rear end, Rallye 15 wheels, Power
Steering, Power Brakes, hood scoops, a rear wing, fog lights, cold
air conditioning, and a center console. This modified Cuda comes
with service/restoration records, spare parts, and a clean title.
The car was repainted in Hemi Orange by SVE Autobody Specialists in
Broomfield, Colorado, during the aforementioned refurbishment. The
hood and front-fender tops are finished in gloss black, with
body-color stripes over the dual hood scoops. Other features
include a black vinyl top, fog lights, a body-color grille, dual
side mirrors, bright trim, a black rear wing, round taillights, and
chrome bumpers with overriders.Rallye 15 wheels are mounted with
Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires measuring 225/60 at the front and
255/60 out back. Braking is provided by power-assisted front discs
and rear drums. The front bucket seats and rear bench were retrimmed
in black vinyl by Auto Interiors Plus of Broomfield, Colorado,
during the refurbishment, at which time the dash cover, carpeting,
and headliner were also replaced. Appointments include air
conditioning, a center console, woodgrain trim, seatbelts, and
orange floor mats. The two-spoke steering wheel has an aftermarket
wrap and frames a 150-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary
gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, amperage, and oil
pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 750 miles, which is said to
reflect the distance accumulated since completion of the
restoration.The 340ci V8 was sourced from a 1972 Barracuda donor
car, and it was bored .030 over and stroked with a Mopar
Performance 3.580 forged crankshaft to displace 373ci before being
installed in this car. The seller tells us that the work was
conducted by Autosport Werks of Broomfield, Colorado, and that the
engine produces 10.5:1 compression and is augmented by the
